Childrens Self Defense
In today’s world, there are many reasons why parents and children would be concerned with their personal safety. Everyone is concerned about child’s safety and the alarming number of child abductions that are taking place each year in the U.S. Children of all ages should, and can, defend themselves with a properly taught course.
Come learn and practice valuable “Street Smart Safety for Kids” techniques for children that could save them from an unwanted attack. At this seminar children will be instructed on some basic skills necessary to recognize and deal with potentially dangerous everyday situations, how to use commonplace items if need be.
Children Safety workshops are specifically designed to be extremely effective in teaching young people (ages four to thirteen) how to protect themselves from violence without scaring them.
We have trained thousands of children and their families. Our central focus is to create an extremely safe (physically and emotionally) learning environment for children while ensuring high quality service. All instructors are extensively trained and strive for excellence in their teaching.
We offer training that includes practicing Full Force Self Defense techniques on a padded instructor as well as our Everyday Safety Skills workshops which focus on awareness and violence prevention skills. All workshops emphasize techniques that can stop an attack without violence.
Our self protection and self confidence trainings for children are specifically designed to work with the ages and life situations of the participants.
Our workshops are interactive, based on the educational philosophy that children (and adults!) learn better when they are given the opportunity to practice, rather than just talk about or see, skills and techniques.
All workshops involve physical practice, role plays and entertaining stories to teach skills. Our workshops are also short (a few hours to a weekend workshop) so they fit easily into people’s busy schedules.
This is an intensive hands-on program including such subjects as:
